I'm 19, currently in my gap year. I co-founded Fadhl in 2024 and I am also the host of Firmly Rooted a podcast platformed by Roots Academy with the sole purpose of helping young muslims to live God-centered lives. Based in Manchester (the best city in the UK) I have lived a life surrounded by a solid Muslim community, institutions central to the advancement of the Muslim mind and the best spicy-dip burgers.

I am truly passionate about the pursuit of excellence as a young Muslim growing up in the West. Our parents and grandparents came to this country and were thrust into 'survival mode', their life was shaped around providing us with stability and now we have fallen victim to this comfortable life. Where is the fire in our bellies? Where is the desire to be the best Muslims we can be? When will it be that we see Muslims soaring to the very top of their careers and professions without sacrificing their values?
